Canterbury D1A Top 20: Week 8

D1A Rugby: Canterbury D1A Top 20: Week 8

BOULDER, Colo. – A couple of hard-fought matches between elite squads created a shakeup in this week’s Canterbury D1A Top 20.

Army’s surprise win over Kutztown sends the Black Knights to No. 3, while an impressive body of work thus far prevents the Golden Bears from falling any further than No. 4. The upset win makes Friday’s match between Army and No. 8 Air Force even more intriguing.

A narrow win over Lindenwood by visiting Davenport bumps the Panthers up two spots and drops the Lions back two. Lindenwood does remain just ahead of their Mid-South rival due in large part to the unfortunate circumstance and difficulties of playing that match after losing friend and teammate Charles Labry.

Another victory for Indiana makes the Hoosiers 5-0 in the Big Ten Universities Conference, which is good enough to break them into the top 10 for the first time this season.
