The second week of the CPD season has come and gone, but not without its fair share of excitement. There were high-scoring matches across the board, with the closest margin being a 29-20 victory for Utah over an Arizona State team looking to make a big impact this year.
This past week’s CPD Barnburner between Colorado and Colorado State ended with a 29-3 victory for Colorado. The Buff’s seemed determined to avenge their loss to Arizona State from the start, and made it so by virtually stopping the Ram offense in their tracks. The Buffaloes move to (1-1) in league play, while the Rams drop to (0-1) after their first ever match in CPD play.
This week’s Barnburner is an intrastate match between Kutztown University and Penn State University at the Kutztown Rugby Pitch in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. This will be the first match in CPD play for both, so get ready for a pivotal battle in the Rugby East Division to decide who is the top men’s team in Pennsylvania Rugby.
