The bracket for D1A’s 2019 playoffs will be will be revealed on March 31st at 1pm CST via a live broadcast on FloRugby. The broadcast will be chaired by Alex Goff, of FloRugby and will feature D1A Commissioner Kevin Battle, College Rugby Journalist Brett Anker, and D1A Rugby’s Angus Bishop. All four of the panelists will break down each selection as it is made.
“We are excited to bring the fans into one of the most exciting moments of the D1A season,” said D1A commissioner Kevin Battle. “With a new playoff structure and format, this year, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to broadcast the reveal.”
This will mark the first time the bracket has been revealed via live broadcast, the programming will run live from 1pm-2pm CST on March 31st. Within the broadcast viewers will not only be able to hear first which teams are selected into the bracket and each squad’s potential pathway to the championship.
Flo’s broadcast will come in front of the paywall and demonstrates their continued support of collegiate rugby, as they have been broadcasting D1A games throughout the season. Flo will also be responsible for the broadcasting of the opening two rounds of the D1A Playoffs (Round of 16 and the Quarterfinals).
