MARIETTA, Ga. – The 2016 Life University Varsity Men’s Rugby recruiting class is the proud result of a thorough search for student-athletes who are service-oriented, academically focused and talented rugby athletes with the ability and potential to compete.

Life University is proud to serve our 2016 incoming freshman and transfer student-athletes toward their degree in an environment which forms lifelong performance habits.

Depth and size have arrived to the front row in the form of University of Kansas transfer Matt Harmon, High School All-Americans Kareem Odeh and Nathan Watts, as well as Texan Wyatt Weatherford.

Citadel graduate Alexander MacDonald, High school All-Americans Justin Oles and Life U rugby prototypes Lance Rowe and Michael Wilson will add work rate and grit to the back row.

Jamie Berrisford looks to add some experience to the line out as well as craftiness around the pitch. Justin Johnson brings plenty of athleticism and a good motor to the back row.

Decision-makers Ethan Coleman, Marc DeCesare and Matthew Mairowitz bring good skill sets and game understanding to the squad while Ryan Rees and Palema “Nikey” Roberts, both coming from multi-sport backgrounds, will look to add playmaking ability to the Running Eagles backline.
