BOULDER, Colo. – D1A Playoffs have begun. After Penn State kicked things off with a 33-8 win over Wisconsin April 11, there are three additional Round 1 Playoff games to savor today.

Utah vs. Cal Poly – Salt Lake City, UT 1 p.m. MT
Victories over Arizona State, Saint Mary’s, and UCLA pushed the Utes to No. 6 in the Canterbury D1A Top 20. Their reward is a home match against the second-best team in the California Conference – Cal Poly. The Mustangs have the tough task of climbing 4,000 feet for this afternoon’s match, but a dominant performance in the Aztecs’ 48-7 triumph over San Diego State just this past Saturday should have the boys from San Louis Obispo feeling confident as they roll into Utah.

Lindenwood vs. Colorado State – St. Charles, MO 8 p.m. CT
No conference can prepare a team for Playoffs like the Mid-South. Lindenwood’s week-in, week-out battles against Davenport and Life should have the Lions feeling in good form ahead of their match against Colorado State. While the West doesn’t quite stack up with the Mid-South, the Rams’ 6-1 conference record can’t be ignored. Neither can Colorado State’s All-American flanker, Ben Pinkelman, who Lindenwood must slow down to earn the result it’s hoping for.

Davenport vs. Wheeling Jesuit – Grand Rapids, MI 8 p.m. ET
The only rematch out of the four opening round Playoff games comes way of Wheeling Jesuit’s visit to Davenport. The Panthers had their way with the Cardinals in a one-sided, 39-10, victory back in October. However, Wheeling Jesuit has taken positive strides in 2015, including a 25-19 win on the road against Navy. Davenport brings its own momentum into first round of the Playoffs after having beat Lindenwood April 11. Still, a 29-point route, like the one between the two sides in the fall, should not be expected tonight. The Round 1 Playoff match between the Panthers and Cardinals will be available to watch via Davenport’s livestream.
