USA Rugby has released the rosters for the USA Rugby Collegiate All-American Sevens squad. Fourteen players were selected for the roster and all fourteen of them come from D1A programs. In total there are eleven programs represented including new-comer, American International College (AIC).
D1A did not only have a presence in the All-American squad, they also had its players joining the Men’s Falcons, a developmental side that feeds its athletes in the USA Men’s s 7s side. In total, there were seventeen players from thirteen D1A programs selected to these prestigious teams.
Both the Falcons and the Collegiate All-Americans will participate in the Rugby Town 7s, which will be played from August 24-26, at Infinity Park, Glendale, Colorado. Rugby Town 7s is tournament that attract teams from around the globe.
In the All-Americans’ pool they will be up against the Bermuda Sevens team, Denver 7s selects, Sacramento Eagles and Washington Athletic Club. The Falcons will play the British Army, Cayman Islands, North American Tsunami Sport Barbarians and the Ramblin Jesters from London, England.
